Vibha's world is full of ideas, possibilities and fascinating experiences that hone her into highly proficient design personnel. Having completed her undergraduate in Design at the University of Technology, Sydney, she was awarded Masters in Sustainable Design at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Her design philosophy evolved from a maximalist to a minimalist aesthetic when her career began coming back to the bay in 2005 working as an Intl Designer & styling M.Y. Kalizma with Jimmy Mistry followed by Arch. Ajit Shilpi.

Her design concepts and mood boards romance between Australia and India for its distinctive craftsmanship and art that transforms any space into a higher curated living experience for both private homes and hospitality spaces. Her horizon is vast and endless - from styling the interiors of the most iconic banquets in the country at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai to The Chambers, from Morimoto's Wasabi to the Spanish Consulate office, from private equity offices in Nariman Point, to private homes around the world - today she boasts of designing her own 40,000 sq.ft showspace in Navi Mumbai, a lockdown passion project in partnership with Kunal Mehta.

She describes her style as a mix of electic and transitional and likes to steer away from the clutter. Connecting personally with the space she chooses, Vibha loves to get into her clients psyche to understand their needs and assist them to a more refined living though her design sensibilities. To add a unique touch to her projects, her creative process involves visualizing the space as a giant jigsaw puzzle. Vibha enjoys seeing colours, patterns and exciting designs in nature and civilisation - from the wonders of a caveman to being inspired by the tallest skyscrapers that design our everyday lives.

Vibha is taking her passion for creating beautiful spaces beyond boundaries. Her solid social compass has navigated the brands she has partnered with into many CSR initiatives from pet adoptions, recycling awareness, upcycling fabric into decor and jewellery, to name a few. She has staged homes taking online meetings, designed and stylized villas in the USA & UAE - breaking physical barriers during the significant pause that we globally experienced in the pandemic.

Vibha has been a part of the Kanchi family for the last 2 decades and has actively spearheaded the brand's design and social media & PR communications. Her international exposure has been very instrumental in metamorphing Kanchi's presence in India and abroad. While integrating various verticals alongside Kunal & Shobhna Mehta such as accent lamps, rugs, accessories, wall art, and more to their extensive furnishing library, she has also participated actively taking Kanchi beyond borders through international exhibitions and facilitating strategic partnerships with brands and designers across the globe.

Vibha owes her life's explorations to her parents and her mentor - her biggest fan and her best critic - Kunal Mehta, who has her back no matter what.
